no you don't. said john. why? 2 bombers were just shot. pow!!! make that 3 shot down. yikes! said Christain. on the other hand I think I'll stay here. take me with you. said john. come over here. you have your own plane. ok. said john. and as he was flying over he was shot down by Nazi  AA fire
he bailed out and instantly bullets were whizzing past his head. as he hit the ground he heard footsteps and dogs barking. what will happen next. find out next week on the fighter pilot.

but his troubles were far from over. As soon as the truck got moving 3 Nazi me 226's flew over them and dropped a bomb on the rescue boat and sank it. luckily the crew, captain and other passengers were off the ship the truck sped off at full speed but the me 226's flew off. probably back to hitler said the anti-aircraft gunner named john. Phew. said everyone else. the rest of the way was uneventful the next day he was back in the skies a milk run said Christain. after the raid. but that was only for him john witnessed 2 bombers and 10 fighters go down and only 1 man made it to the ground alive. he shot down 6 Nazi fighters that day. they were flying over Pilsen that day. and what an adventure. he said over the intercom. I wish I was over there. said christain.

Saved! or so we think as the rescue boat sailed home a German U-boat secretly sailed undetected under the water and prepared to launch a torpedo the rescue boat detected the U-boat and launched depth charges and sunk the U-boat. YAY!!! When they reached the harbor John shot off the boat and to the truck that was to carry him to the air base.

Last we heard of our pilot his plane was smoking. Now we will find out what happens to our hero. "I'll have to fall back, my main guns are disabled". " I'll go with you", my guns are fully operational. "thanks Christian, I mean it". Christian Voultrum was another pilot with the eighth air force operating from England and Johns best friend. As they got closer to England Johns plane lost altitude and crash landed in the English channel he told Christian to go to the base and get help. As the silver P-51 Mustang flew on into the sky Johns war torn P5-1 mustang sank into the water as john watched  from the inflatable raft. The next night a rescue boat came to his rescue and he shot up a huge red flare. a friendly English voice called. "Is that you?" "yes!" John called. He was saved.

The Fighter pilot

During WWII many men fought and died for the freedom of their country. this is a story about an American fighter pilot and his adventures protecting bombers and flying beside other British and Soviet pilots all over Europe. The pilots name is John Mills. ( this is a fictional story and does not stand as a reference by itself). and now the story.... once there was a young man 20 years old named  John Mills who wanted to join the air force but he had 2 younger brothers looking up to him so he didn't want to lead them that way. It was 1941 and the us had just entered the war and John knew he would be drafted sooner or later so he enlisted anyways. First he was sent too Miami Fl. for basic training then Oklahoma for flying lessons, after that he was sent to Loisiana for final prep and after that he went to his home in Cleavland Tennessee before being shipped overseas. the next day he had his first mission, to protect bombers. at liftoff he felt that tingling sencation of exitment. Suddenly a shot fired they were almost to where the bomb run starts when 4 shells flew by him it was godfathers inc. one of there own bombers. Suddenly 5 enemy aircraft flew by firing rapidly he was hit and smocking. what will happen next find out tommarow.
